Urge your legislators to support HB 709/SB 632. This legislation would create a pilot state subsidy program to help more small businesses and nonprofits, including faith based organizations, be able to afford health coverage for their employees. Currently only 37% of small businesses offer health coverage to employees in Maryland, compared with 95% of large businesses. A major reason is cost.
